Only five F1 drivers now have more wins than Verstappen
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Following his latest victory at the US Grand Prix last weekend, Max Verstappen moved further up the ladder of all-time wins.

Heading into the weekend, the Dutchman had 32 victories to his name, tied with fellow double World Champion Fernando Alonso.

Verstappen’s victory looked unlikely following a slow pit stop which dropped him back to third, however he overtook Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in the closing stages to secure the win.

It put him clear of Alonso on the all-time win list, and he now sits in sixth place, with just five drivers ahead of him boasting more grand prix wins.

It makes sense. The seasons are much longer and gives the opportunity for a lot more wins in a dominant car.
