Inception Racing will contest the full FIA World Endurance Championship campaign as part of a new collaboration with Team Project 1.

The tie-up will see the team race the #56 Porsche 911 RSR-19 in the GTE Am category with Brendan Iribe, Ollie Millroy and Lexus factory driver Ben Barnicoat behind the wheel.

The team made its first appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year with a Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, but will now switch to Porsche machinery instead.

Team Project 1 will field two cars in the class for the third season in a row, although the driver line-up for the sister #46 Porsche remains unconfirmed at this time.

Porsche factory ace Matteo Cairoli is listed as the first confirmed driver aboard that car.

Thomas Preining was previously listed aboard the #56 in WEC’s initial full-season entry list, although it appears that the Austrian has been replaced as a result of the Inception deal.

The FIA World Endurance Championship kicks off with the 1000 Miles of Sebring on March 18th.
