Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has announced the full driver line-up for its debut season in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
After previously confirming Ryan Briscoe and Gustavo Menezes, the American squad has now confirmed that Pipo Derani, Romain Dumas, Franck Mailleux, Olivier Pla and Richard Westbrook will compete for the team during the 2021 season.
That makes a total of seven drivers signed on to drive the 007 LMH, but Glickenhaus has yet to confirm who will drive which car, and at what round.
“I’ve dreamed of racing Le Mans since I was 11 years old,” said team founder Jim Glickenhaus. We are proud of each driver who has joined our team. We are an international David verses Goliath, and our history shows we punch well above our weight class. We are racing to win and we are enjoying the journey.”
With this line-up, Glickenhaus has opted for a driver crew with great experience in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and WEC. All drivers have previously raced in the WEC, with Derani, Dumas, Pla and Mailleux having raced LMP1 or LMP2 machinery in previous outings. Westbrook is the only driver not to race prototypes in WEC, but has multiple Daytona Prototype wins in IMSA to his name.
The Briton has also previously raced for the American outfit, winning the SP-X class of the 2020 Nürburgring 24 Hours in its SCG004c. Westbrook partnered with Mailleux in that event.
“We set an audacious goal to build a car and team to win for first overall at Le Mans and the WEC,” said managing director Jesse Glickenhaus. We are proud that all these drivers will join our team.
“Each can all race our race pace – in the rain, all day and all night. Also, each driver is both humble about the challenge of winning – and they also can envision us winning. With these drivers we have built a car and team to compete at the absolute top level of endurance racing.”
With the announcement, all driver slots for the debut season of Hypercar have now been filled. Toyota announces its line-up during the reveal of its car earlier this month, while Alpine confirmed the trio of Andre Negrao, Nicolas Lapierre and Matthieu Vaxiviere earlier this week.

The team has also confirmed that the 007 LMH will undergo its first rollout and test at Vallelunga in March.
