The 2020 Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix witnessed history made after Lewis Hamilton claimed his record-equalling seventh World Drivers’ Championship taking whilst taking his 94th victory with an imperious drive from sixth on the grid.

It was one of the most challenging races for all 20 drivers as the rain fell on the newly-resurfaced Istanbul Park – which was already having its own difficulties with the asphalt due to its completion only two weeks prior.

Despite being over 20 seconds down on the leader of Racing Point’s Lance Stroll early on in the race, the British driver came through to win by over 30 seconds ahead of the Sergio Perez and Sebastian Vettel who took their battle right to the final corner.

Having arrived back in Parc Ferme, there were some emotional scenes and Motorsport Week has taken a deep dive into the photo gallery to bring you the best shots from that historical afternoon.
