Circuit Zandvoort, the venue for the Dutch Grand Prix has been officially renamed to CM.com Circuit Zandvoort. The new name was unveiled in an official press event on Wednesday afternoon.
Dutch GP director Jan Lammers unveiled the name together with track director Robert van Overdijk in an event held in the newly completed pit boxes.
Tech firm CM, a partner of the Grand Prix, has been responsible for the event’s digital infrastructure.
The track has completed a number of new additions, which have led to the official acquisition of the Grade 1 license from the FIA.

Amongst others, race control, medical facilities, catch fencing and SAFER barriers have been installed at the venue, which was officially opened by Max Verstappen in March.
The FIA completed final checks of the venue at the June, after which the official Grade 1 was handed out on July 7.
The Dutch Grand Prix was supposed to make a return to the F1 calendar in 2020 before the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
