Charles Leclerc and his wife Alexandra have taken to social media to announce the birth of their daughter on Monday.
News of the new arrival comes just days after his controversial clash with teammate Lewis Hamilton at the Mexico City Grand Prix, and appeared to hot-foot it back to Monaco for the birth.
Fans had been on tenterhooks awaiting news, with Leclerc recently posting on Instagram a photo of him ‘practicing’ with the baby’s stroller.
And on the same platform, both Mr and Mrs Leclerc posted a photo of the woollen-socked feet of their daughter, revealing her name.
“Bianca… 3.11.26,” it reads.
Leclerc has already received congratulations in the replies from F1 and the FIA, with the Monegasque now set to return to action in Brazil this weekend.
However, Leclerc will be afforded some leeway with timings, as his car in FP1 will be driven by the Scuderia‘s reserve driver, Dino Beganovic.
The Swedish driver will take part in his third FP1 of the season – his fifth appearance overall – having deputised in both Barcelona and Austria.
And the F2 driver will once again get behind the wheel of the SF-26 at Interlagos, in what has been an already fraught week for its driver academy.

Rafael Camara, who will drive for Haas next season, will take his place with the team already, after Esteban Ocon’s formal axing from the team after being benched for the Mexico City Grand Prix after allegations of an altercation with a team member after FP2.
The Brazilian will therefore make a sensational F1 debut in his home Grand Prix, and will be now given the remaining races to acclimatise ahead of his first full season next year.
