Speed and stars: Mexico’s F1 paddock fiesta!

The stars are out in Mexico City, and the paddock is proving every bit as glamorous as the grid. From chart-topping music sensations and Hollywood favourites to football royalty, fashion icons and social-media personalities, the 2026 Mexican Grand Prix is a celebrity hotspot. With glamorous arrivals and Kimi Antonelli on the verge of securing a place in Formula 1 history, this Sunday’s Grand Prix is one to watch.

Mexico’s own football legend Rafa Márquez, head coach of the national team, had the honour of presenting Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton with the Pirelli Pole Position trophy. The British star was all smiles after securing his first-ever Grand Prix pole for the Scuderia. With Kim Kardashian also in Mexico City, could she be his lucky charm? The reality-TV superstar is in town promoting the second season of her legal drama All’s Fair, amid ongoing speculation surrounding her connection with Hamilton. Adding to the intrigue, the Ferrari driver recently revealed he had bought a golden retriever puppy named Halo for his girlfriend’s children – a detail that has certainly fuelled curiosity, particularly given Kardashian’s four children and a recent insta post on her account with a puppy.

Meanwhile, celebrity Michelin Star chef Gordon Ramsay is hosting his exclusive F1® Garage hospitality experience alongside wife Tana. And what’s on the menu? A spectacular T-bone steak, which Ramsay has revealed as his signature dish for the Mexican weekend. Fine dining meets high-speed racing!

At the Mexican Grand Prix, the celebrity line-up can be just as headline-grabbing as the racing. Evander Holyfield waved the chequered flag in 2025. Familiar faces have graced the paddock in past years: global superstar Bad Bunny, actor  Diego Boneta and football icon Sergio Ramos, singers Aitana, who visited Aston Martin’s garage to support Fernando Alonso, Paty Cantú and Gabito Ballesteros, Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos, food sensation RobeGrill, social-media star Juanpa Zurita and DJ Bizarrap. Now, the 2026 edition promises another glamorous combination of speed, music and star power.

The musicians: From rock sisters to Latin pop royalty

Few guests embody Mexican rock quite like The Warning. The Monterrey-born sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal Vélez turned a viral Metallica cover into an international career, sharing stages with Muse and Foo Fighters. With albums including Error and Keep Me Fed, 1.1 million Instagram followers and one million on TikTok, they bring serious rock credentials. They are attending as guests of F1.

Did you know?

A while ago, Bad Bunny mentioned Sergio Pérez and Max Verstappen in his song Monaco, in which he refers to the fact that in races the Dutch driver finishes first and the Mexican second. Furthermore, in the official video, the Puerto Rican artist spends time with Checo, poses next to his Red Bull car and includes some footage from the Monaco Grand Prix.

Sergio Pérez’s arrival at Red Bull in 2021 ignited Checomania, inspiring a wave of musical tributes. Among them was Jary Franco’s De 0 a 100 Checo Pérez, celebrating the Mexican driver’s fierce rivalry with Mercedes and his lifestyle. Other tributes include Muéstrales by Calevra and Checo Pérez Corrido by Alan and Roberto. Pérez also inspired and appeared in the music video Por la Familia by BorderKid and Carín León, referring to difficulties Checo faced from an early age, achieving success and staying devoted to his family.

Danna, formerly known internationally as Danna Paola, first captured fans’ attention as Lu in Netflix’s Élite. Since her beginnings as a child performer, she has successfully combined acting with Latin pop. With a staggering 50.4 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, she is a major digital force.

For regional Mexican music fans, Carín León brings Grammy- and Latin Grammy-recognised talent, with hits including Tú, Me La Aventé and Que Vuelvas. His 5.4 million Instagram and 6.7 million TikTok followers reflect the genre’s growing global appeal.

Brazilian DJ Vintage Culture is guest of Red Bull Racing. A festival favourite at events including Tomorrowland and EDC, Vintage Culture brings 10.7 million Instagram followers and a globally recognised electronic sound.

British DJ Guy Lawrence, one half of Disclosure, helped bring house and UK garage to global audiences with Latch, featuring Sam Smith, and the album Settle. He is due on Sunday as a promoter guest.

With 6.6 million Instagram and 2.9 million TikTok followers, Diplo, the American producer behind Major Lazer and a member of projects including Jack Ü, Silk City and LSD, knows how to make a moment travel for his hosts Mercedes.

Mexico’s corridos tumbados scene will be represented by Gabito Ballesteros, whose charting releases and collaborations have made him one of the genre’s leading voices. He is joined in the Williams garage by Sabino. The Guadalajara-born rapper behind his own genre, Sab-Hop, blends hip-hop, pop and personal storytelling. After selling out Estadio GNP Seguros to 60,000 fans, he has proved Mexican rap can fill a stadium.

London-born singer-songwriter Nippa brings contemporary R&B, having developed his songwriting through work connected to Craig David’s 22 album. He is an F1 guest and gave a House 44 performance on Saturday.

Gordon Ramsay will bring his own unique flavour to the paddock once more

From Hollywood to Mexican television

Victoria Justice grew up in front of the camera. Best known as Tori Vega in Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Lola Martinez in Zoey 101, the American actress and singer’s later credits include Eye Candy, Afterlife of the Party and A Perfect Pairing. With 23.7 million Instagram and six million TikTok followers, she brings substantial international star power.

Mexican actor and producer Diego Boneta, known for Rock of Ages and his acclaimed portrayal of Luis Miguel in Luis Miguel: The Series, has successfully moved from child roles in Mexican television to international productions. A familiar face at the 2024 Grand Prix, he returns as a promoter guest.

Luis Gerardo Méndez, star of Club de Cuervos and The Noble Family, has built an international career through productions including Murder Mystery, Charlie’s Angels and The Resort.

Aislinn Derbez, known as Elena de la Mora in Netflix’s La Casa de las Flores, combines acting and modelling with a substantial digital presence: 12.5 million Instagram and 6.7 million TikTok followers. She attends on Sunday as a Disney guest together with Jorge Blanco, beloved for playing León Vargas in Violetta, and Azul Guaita, recognised for Rebelde and Like Water for Chocolate. Blanco has 2.4 million TikTok followers, while Guaita’s Instagram and TikTok audiences total 4.6 million.

FIA Senate member and Mexican businessman, Carlos Slim Domit

Football, basketball and sporting royalty

Diego Reyes, the Mexican international defender whose career includes Porto, Fenerbahçe and Tigres UANL, attends on Sunday as a Williams guest alongside his partner, Colombian actress Viviana Serna. Known for Narcos, El Señor de los Cielos and the Sundance-winning film Between Sea and Land, Serna adds Hollywood-style glamour to the football contingent.

Rafa, a former Barcelona defender and Mexican football legend, brings an impressive record: two Champions League titles, four La Liga championships and five World Cup appearances for Mexico.

Argentine defender Gonzalo Piovi, a Cruz Azul player and member of the club’s 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup-winning squad, is a Williams guest.

Another Williams footballing couple brings a blend of sporting ambition and fashion-world flair. Mexican international forward Alexis Vega, a Toluca player who has won multiple Liga MX titles and the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the national team, attends on Sunday as a Williams guest. He is joined by his wife, Paula González, a Mexican fashion and lifestyle creator from Toluca whose content spans outfits, beauty and travel; she also has her own boutique label. The pair bring both football credentials and a distinctly lifestyle-minded presence to the paddock.

The Audi guest list adds two more names from Mexico’s football future. Gilberto Mora, the Club Tijuana and Mexico national-team attacking midfielder, made his Liga MX debut at just 15 and became the youngest player ever to win a senior international tournament after Mexico’s 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup triumph. Érik Lira, Cruz Azul captain and Mexico international, is listed as a Red Bull Racing guest, like Kevin Álvarez, the Club América right-back who has represented Mexico at FIFA World Cup level.

Former Mexico international Miguel Layún, known for successful spells with Club América and FC Porto and appearances at two FIFA World Cups, brings experience from a career spanning Mexico and several major European leagues. He is a Mercedes guest and joined by Juan Toscano-Anderson, the Mexican-American NBA champion who won the 2022 title with the Golden State Warriors,

American football fans can look out for Isaac Alarcón, who pursued an NFL career through the International Player Pathway Program, joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2020 before moving to the San Francisco 49ers.

Fitness fans can also expect Hunter McIntyre, a HYROX champion and obstacle-course racing star, attending at Audi.

The content creators: Where the social-media fireworks happen

With a combined social-media following of more than 262 million across Instagram and TikTok, the stars and creators descending on Mexico City bring extraordinary digital reach to the 2026 Mexican Grand Prix. The figures represent a potential global audience, turning the paddock into a powerful platform for motorsport, entertainment and lifestyle.

Leading the overall follower figures are Danna, with 50.4 million across Instagram and TikTok, and Victoria Justice, with 29.7 million.

Among dedicated creators, Bárbara de Regil commands 18 million TikTok and 9.2 million Instagram followers. Best known for Rosario Tijeras, the Mexican actress has turned screen fame into a formidable digital presence.

Food creator RobeGrill, whose signature cry of “¡Que chille!” has become instantly recognisable, has built an audience of 16.7 million on TikTok and 3.4 million on Instagram. His energetic grilling videos have featured celebrities including Dwayne Johnson, Rosalía, Olivia Rodrigo and Checo Pérez. Having appeared at the 2024 Grand Prix, he returns on Sunday as a promoter guest. Expect plenty of food, fire and behind-the-scenes content.

Fashion lovers will be watching Priscila Escoto, whose luxury, beauty and lifestyle content attracts 4.1 million TikTok and 1.4 million Instagram followers. Originally trained as a lawyer, she is now a prominent digital personality, attending Saturday and Sunday as a promoter guest.

Andy Benavides, known for luxury-fashion collaborations with Gucci, Chanel and Bvlgari, brings 1.3 million Instagram followers and will as a promoter guest. Expect the paddock to double as a style showcase.

Comedy fans will recognise José Luis Slobotzky and Ricardo Pérez, co-hosts of the hugely popular podcast La Cotorrisa. Together, they command more than 11 million Instagram and TikTok followers, turning irreverent conversation into a digital entertainment phenomenon. Both are promoter guests on Sunday.

Chumel Torres, creator of political satire programme El Pulso de la República and former HBO presenter, brings his sharp wit to the paddock. He has 1.4 million Instagram followers and is a promoter guest across all three days.

Completing the Disney creator contingent is Jessica Marmolejo, a stylist and creative director whose second-hand fashion and circular-styling content has earned her 1.2 million TikTok followers and 397,000 on Instagram. She attends on Sunday alongside Aislinn Derbez, Jorge Blanco and Azul Guaita.

The motorsport conversation will also have its own creator voices. Juan Bertheau, better known online as Berth Oh, is a Mexican YouTuber, actor and lifestyle creator whose content often crosses into cars, motorsport and entertainment. He is an Audi guest on Friday. Alex Escalera, an F1-focused creator and co-host of the motorsport podcast Desde el Paddock, joins Audi on Saturday, while Salma Del Toro, whose videos cover F1 news, explainers and race experiences, is with Mercedes.

Mercedes also welcomes Alejandro Sago, a Guatemalan creator and podcaster based in Mexico, known for humorous, spontaneous social-media content. Juanpa Zurita, already familiar to the Grand Prix paddock, is also listed among the Red Bull Racing guests; his established career spans comedy, YouTube, modelling and acting, including his role as Alex Basteri in Luis Miguel: The Series.

Sergio Perez might fall short in terms of glamour compared to Mrs Perez, but the home favourite will help to pack the grandstands!

Barilla’s flavour of the paddock

Barilla’s guest list brings together food storytellers, lifestyle voices and comedy creators—a line-up that could make the paddock as tempting for its content as for its racing. Food creator and recipe developer Ángela Omaña Lelo de Larrea, known for Ángela Tasty Blog, shares approachable recipes and kitchen inspiration with audiences of 1.1 million on both Instagram and TikTok.

Chef en Proceso, is a Mexican culinary creator whose entertaining recipes, food-focused travel and celebrity cooking collaborations have helped build an audience of 4 million on Instagram and 13.9 million on TikTok. His appearances on MasterChef Celebrity have further raised his profile.

The group’s lifestyle angle comes from Carlos Carbajal, whose content moves between personal style, travel, road trips, home life and cooking. Abelardo Bobadilla, meanwhile, brings the comedy: his sketches and short-form videos have attracted 7.1 million TikTok followers and 1.2 million on Instagram.

Rounding out the Barilla contingent is Brekel Milagro, a creator and musician who mixes comedy, duets and short-form social videos with original music. With 7.9 million TikTok followers and 3.1 million on Instagram.

The official music and entertainment schedule

Music is adding another dimension to the weekend, although not every artist on the guest list is an official Grand Prix performer. The clearest performance listing was Nippa at House 44 on Saturday at 3. The Warning are attending Sunday as F1 guests, while Vintage Culture is scheduled for Sunday as a Red Bull Racing guest. These are attendance listings, not confirmation of main-stage performances.

Fans hoping to combine racing with live music should check the final official timetable for confirmed stage locations and performance times before making plans.

The weekend’s surprise factor

Santos Bravos, the multinational Latin pop boy band formed through HYBE Latin America, represents the next generation of internationally minded pop. With 1.6 million Instagram and 2.8 million TikTok followers, the group attends on Sunday as a Mercedes guest.

Yet the real magic may lie in the unexpected encounters: musicians meeting drivers, actors discovering the intensity of the paddock, fashion creators documenting their race-weekend looks and sporting legends swapping stories away from their usual arenas.

But make no mistake: the real stars will be on the grid. With Kimi Antonelli poised to make history by potentially becoming Formula 1’s youngest-ever world champion, the stakes could hardly be higher. His 9.5 million Instagram followers could soon surge past the 10-million mark as fans worldwide follow his title bid. The paddock may glitter with famous faces, but the weekend’s ultimate star will be the young Italian.
