Lando Norris has been seen driving his Ferrari F40 around London, confirming the supercar has returned to the road following the high-profile crash that damaged it in January 2025.
The 2025 world champion took delivery of the F40 — one of just 1,311 built between 1987 and 1992, and the first street-legal car to break 200mph — in the last quarter of 2024. Weeks later, the car was involved in an accident on the roads outside Monaco while Norris was away, after a friend driving it lost traction exiting a left-hand corner and struck the guardrails.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, Norris confirmed the car wasn’t fixed yet, explaining the crash happened while he was away and adding, “I wasn’t happy at all.”

The latest sighting comes shortly after Norris took third place at the Madrid Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit.
Footage of the F40 back on London’s streets quickly drew attention on social media. One fan wrote it was “good to see this car on the road again,” while another praised his “unbelievable taste in cars.”
A third joked about a possible crossover with fellow F40 owner Lewis Hamilton, asking whether the pair were “car sharing” given the similar plates on the back of both cars.
Hamilton acquired his own F40 recently, unveiling the purchase ahead of the Italian Grand Prix after having previously sold off his entire car collection — making him and Norris the two highest-profile F1 drivers currently running the classic Ferrari model.
