Lando Norris has taken a maiden win of the 2026 Formula 1 season at the Hungarian Grand Prix after a superb performance.
The Brit lost the lead to teammate Oscar Piastri at the start, but persistence and Piastri’s retirement ensured the reigning World Champion’s victory.
Max Verstappen scored a brilliant second position, with Andrea Kimi Antonelli taking third.
Lewis Hamilton’s challenge faded after losing out in tyre stops, as well as a five second penalty, which left him fifth, with Charles Leclerc fourth.
