Daryl De Leon hopes that a buoyant home crowd will help him to the flag as the British Touring Car Championship visits Snetterton.
The WSR man lives near Cambridge, making the Norfolk tarmac of Snetterton his home hunting ground.
However, it has not been a place of stellar results for the Anglo-Filipino so far, with his best BTCC result being a pair of P10s.
Despite this, De Leon is optimistic, and hopes that the track’s atmosphere will power his BMW to the top.
“I’m looking forward to racing in front of my home crowd and I hope the local support will be as good as in previous years,” he told BTCC media.
“What’s great about Snetterton is that from the exit of turn two through to braking zone for turn six, you’re in this big bowl with spectators packing the banking on race day.
“You feel a bit of the atmosphere in the car.”

De Leon rues Brands Hatch weather that ‘undone’ strong WSR potential
De Leon’s weekend at Brands Hatch started perfectly with a P1 in Saturday’s Free Practice.
The WSR driver’s weekend then continued excellently with a P2 in the Race to Pole.
However, rain-spotted running in Race 1 and 2 sought the flaws of his BMW. But, De Leon did notch a strong P4 in the final race of the weekend.
“Brands Hatch went really well from a speed point of view.
“Had Sunday been fully dry, I think two podiums were easily achievable – we were just undone by the weather.
“I think we’ll be just as competitive this weekend.”
