Both Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly have dramatically crashed out of the 2026 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix bringing out an early race Safety Car.
The 57-lap race at the Miami International Autodrome has begun in sensational fashion.
The lap 1 melee saw Max Verstappen spin out of P2. Charles Leclerc assumed the lead before a three-way fight between the Monegasque, Andrea Kimi Antonelii and Lando Norris ensued.
But all hell broke loose on lap 6 when both Hadjar and Gasly crashed out, in separate incidents, of the race – calling out the Safety Car.

Hadjar was making moves Turn 11 before he clipped the inside wall heading into the Turns 14 and 15 chicane.
A broken suspension then propelled him into the wall and out of the race. Gasly on the other hand was impeded by Liam Lawson.
Lawson tried to make a move down the inside of the Alpine driver into Turn 17 but locked up. He clipped Gasly’s A526 sending the Frenchman summersaulting into the outside wall.
Both drivers were OK after the incident and jumped out of their respective cars unscathed.
As of writing Norris is in the lead with rain expected to hit the track in a short but heavy burst.
