Oscar Piastri out of F1 Australian GP after pre-race crash

Oscar Piastri is out of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, after crashing on his out lap on the way to the grid.

The home favourite lost control of his McLaren on the exit of Turn 4. Disappointment aside, Piastri climbed out of the car and is OK.

The Woking-based squad has confirmed that Piastri will not take the start of the race.
