Williams has unveiled a revamped livery for its FW48 challenger, the car that will contest the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.
The Grove-based squad has been under a cloud in recent weeks, with issues of alleged crash test failures and chassis weight issues plaguing its 2026 preparations.
But with the team vowing it is heading towards the right track, the car’s colour scheme has been revealed to the world.
Carrying the similar shade of blue that has adorned Williams cars over recent years – and sporadically over his history – there is also lighter shade to incorporate new sponsor Barclays, as well as some added white features on the side.
With Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz set for a second season at the wheel, the James Vowles-led outfit will be desperate to overcome its current woes and maintain the upwards trajectory it showed on its way to an impressive fifth place in last year’s Constructors’ standings.
“2026 is the next step on the path back towards the top for Atlassian Williams F1 Team as we enter a new era for the sport, and we are excited about the season ahead,” Vowles said.
“We have a great driver line up, some fantastic new partners, an ever-growing fanbase and want to build on the success we tasted last year, but we are not naïve about the challenge ahead of us.
“Nobody quite knows what will happen at the first race but we are looking forward to finding out, and hope our fans will love cheering us on with this great new livery.”
