Red Bull Racing have officially shown off its 2026 challenger, as the grid prepares for the inaugural Formula 1 test in Barcelona this week.
The Milton Keynes-based team revealed their livery earlier this month in Detroit at a shared event with Racing Bulls.
However, the car that was on show there was not the official RB22 that Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar would race this season.
But now, as teams head to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the team has shown off the car that will hit the track in F1’s ground-breaking season.
The Barcelona shakedown test begins today and marks the first official test for the sport’s revolutionary changes in 2026.
Running for three days, this test will not be public for fans watch. Rather, they will have to wait until the Bahrain test begins in two weeks to see F1 cars back in action
Importantly for Red Bull, the Barcelona test marks a significant milestone as the team’s new partnership with Ford is seen in effect for the first time.
The pair will be eager to understand their car as much as possible before the season opener in Melbourne, allowing Red Bull to return to the dominant form seen in the ground effect era.
