Cadillac Formula 1 Team has unveiled the livery that will adorn its cars when the American squad takes to the track for the first time later this month.

The Silverstone-based outfit will make its F1 debut in 2026, equipped with an experienced background team and with veterans Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez behind the wheel.

In just three weeks, the team will unveil its full race livery during the Super Bowl, days before F1 begins its final pre-season testing schedules in Bahrain.

Therefore, Cadillac has taken the decision to release a special colour scheme for the behind-closed-doors test programme that commences in Barcelona on January 26.

Black, with subtle patterns and the marque’s logo emblazoned across the airbox, Cadillac’s identity at the Circuit de-Barcelona Catalunya is very much noticeable.

Cadillac CEO Dan Towriss said: “The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is committed to innovation on and off the track. TWG combined with General Motors allows us to rethink the norm and introduce the team in bold new ways.

“Debuting our race livery during a globally televised championship broadcast challenges convention and brings Cadillac Formula 1 to a global audience.

“Paired with this special-edition testing livery designed by the GM Design studios, we’re honoring automotive heritage while looking ahead as we build toward the 2026 season.”

Powered by Ferrari engines, Cadillac’s car – yet to be named – will begin its F1 journey amid the sport’s brand-new regulations cycle, which may enable the team to challenge with the order so far hard to predict.
