Cadillac has revealed that it will showcase the colour scheme that will run on the team’s debut Formula 1 car in 2026 during the Super Bowl.
The American marque, which will expand the grid to 11 teams, will unveil its maiden livery in an advert during the Super Bowl on February 8.
That means that, like Alpine, Cadillac’s launch plans will take place once the squad’s 2026 car has had its inaugural shakedown in Barcelona.
With the Super Bowl being among the most-watched events in the United States, Cadillac is aiming to tap into that market prior to its F1 bow.
“The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together, and it gives us a chance to introduce Cadillac Formula 1 Team on a stage that reflects who we are,” Cadillac CEO Dan Towriss said. “We’re proud of our American heritage and we want to show up in a way that feels bold, innovative and distinctly ours.”
Cadillac will embark on its opening season in the sport with two experienced, multiple-time F1 race winners in Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez.
