McLaren has unveiled a special livery that will adorn the team’s cars during this weekend’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
Like in the previous two seasons, the Woking-based squad has chosen to adopt a tribute to the iconic chrome design scheme that was used between 2006 and 2014.
McLaren collaborated with partner Google Chrome to revive the chrome livery at Silverstone in 2023, with a second version used in the 2024 United States Grand Prix.
McLaren revealed the latest iteration – which has been dubbed Legacy at Speed – at the McLaren Racing Live event that is taking place in London prior to the weekend.
“We know that, while we have millions of fans who have been with the McLaren Formula 1 Team for decades, there are millions more who are new to the sport and the team,” McLaren Racing CMO Louise McEwen said.
“Being able to celebrate and showcase our long history with the help of Chrome is a fantastic way of bringing these newer fans on the journey with us.
“To celebrate with so many of our fans in London this week as we get ready for our home race makes it even more special!”
Lando Norris and team-mate Oscar Piastri will also be sporting unique all-black overalls that comprise the colours seen on the Google Chrome logo down both sides.
Norris, who has taken consecutive podiums at Silverstone, will be bidding to secure a maiden win on home soil as he goes into this weekend 15 points behind Piastri.
