Action heats up in FP2 as teams fine-tune setups ahead of the Imola weekend

It was a McLaren 1-2 once again as Oscar Piastri led team-mate Lando Norris in the second practice at the Formula 1 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

Pierre Gasly for Alpine was third, Mercedes’ George Russell fourth again ahead of Max Verstappen in fifth for Red Bull.

Isack Hadjar brought out the red flag towards the end of the session after he lost the rear of his Racing Bulls car into Turn 3 and hit the barriers.
