McLaren’s Lando Norris wins the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Sprint Race in tricky wet weather conditions.

The British driver leapfrogged his team-mate Oscar Piastri due to a late race Safety Car.

Piastri jumped polesitter Andrea Kimi Antonelli at the start after the Sprint finally got underway.

But the Mercedes driver went wide before a pit lane collision with Max Verstappen derailed his race later on.

His team-mate, Charles Leclerc, failed to start the race after smacking the wall on the long straight into Turn 11.

The Ferraris opted to try out the intermediate tyres on the warm lap despite the heavy rainfall.

Leclerc was due to start the race from sixth but suffered too much damage to his car, ending his race and potentially his qualifying later on.

Alex Albon took fourth place amidst the chaos for Williams ahead of George Russell in fifth.

Lance Stroll scored good points in sixth for Aston Martin, with Liam Lawson in seventh for the Racing Bulls despite a collision with Fernando Alonso.

Oliver Bearman, from 18th on the grid, came home to take the final point by finishing in eighth for Haas
