Kyle Larson will be attempting to compete in IndyCar’s Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Coca Cola 600 on the same day again this year.

New liveries for Larson’s second attempt at racing 1100 miles in a single day have been revealed, with a majority white paint scheme on the #17 IndyCar entry.

Also featured on the Dallara chassis is Amazon Prime branding, with a large sponsorship presence on the side pods and front wing.

The partnership will also lead to a feature-length documentary about Larson’s ‘Double’ attempt airing on the platform next year.

“HendrickCars.com doesn’t change its paint scheme very often, but when they do, I feel like they go all in and really make it worthwhile,” Larson said.

“These cars look awesome, and I think it’s exciting to have a fresh look and a fresh start to kick off this year’s Hendrick 1100 effort.

“Everyone involved is super optimistic and motivated by a second chance to do the double. We’re not focused on last year. We’re focused on all the opportunity we have now.”

The 2021 NASCAR champion will race a joint Hendrick Motorsports / Arrow McLaren entry for the Indy 500, just has he did during his first attempt.

Last year, his plans were disrupted by weather systems in Indianapolis and Charlotte, which altered the schedules of both races.

Larson completed all 500 miles of a delayed Indy 500 and finished in 18th. He then flew directly to the Coca Cola 600 only to have the remainder of the event called off due to a lengthy rain delay.

If Larson completes all 1100 miles this year, he will become only the second driver to do so after Tony Stewart accomplished the feat in 2001 by finishing sixth and third in the two events.

Drivers have only attempted to race in both events 11 times previously, and no driver making the attempt has won either race.
