Aston Martin will unveil its car for the upcoming 2025 Formula 1 season – the AMR25 – on Sunday 23 February.
The Silverstone-based squad has announced it will, in keeping with many modern F1 launches, provide a “digital reveal”, which will be shared across its social media platforms, alongside supporting videos and imagery.
The car itself will make its first on-track appearance one day later at the Bahrain International Circuit for a promotional day – one week before official the pre-season testing schedule – with both its drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, getting behind the wheel.
The livery for the car will be revealed on February 18, at the unique all-team F1 75 launch event at The 02 in London, with Alonso and Stroll present, alongside part-owner – and Lance’s father – Laurence and new Team Principal and CEO, Andy Cowell.
Aston Martin is hopeful of reversing its fortunes after a difficult 2024, finishing fifth in the Constructors’ standings with 94 points, failing to capitalise on its strong showing in 2023.
Technical guru Adrian Newey will join-up with the team on March 3 upon the ending of his long tenure with Red Bull, becoming its Managing Technical Partner as well as shareholder.
The team has also seen further personnel reshuffling, with Team Principal Mike Krack moved to Chief Trackside Engineer and replaced by Cowell.
