Amex is offering several event-boosting experiences at the Las Vegas GP

Formula 1 and F1 Academy partner Amex is bringing multiple experiences to F1 fans and customers in Sin City this weekend for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Amex is offering experiences to Card Members and F1 fans alike at this year’s Las Vegas GP both at the iconic Strip circuit and in and around the famous city.

This is led by the American Express Trackside Card Member Lounge, an exclusive trackside hospitality space at Turn 1 of the Las Vegas GP circuit where Amex Card Members with tickets can enjoy a VIP experience.

The Amex Fan Experience is another venue where Card Members and fans with a ticket for the East Harmon Zone can immerse themselves in F1 culture and action.

A two-storey interactive hub, the Amex Fan Experience allows visitors to design their own F1 livery, participate in a driver evaluation to learn their unique driver personality, create their own driver intro akin to the stars on track and purchase merchandise.

Amex members can keep up with the Las Vegas GP around the entire circuit

Thanks to Amex Race Radios, Card Members can keep up to date with every session at seven locations placed around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

Simply pick up an Amex Race Radion and you can tune into the exciting action.

Off track experiences

As is commonplace in modern F1, each Grand Prix is more than just a race, it is a sprawling entertainment offering.

This is no different in Las Vegas and Amex will be at the heart of the off-track offerings, backing small businesses at the F1 LVGP Fan Experience.

Amex is setting up the Shop Small Village, located at Wynn West, where fans can pursue and purchase products from local Las Vegas small businesses.

There will also be the Amex Garage for fans to enjoy and immerse themselves in the pit-crew mentality.

Bringing F1 Academy to Las Vegas

Backing small businesses is at the heart of Amex’s partnership with F1 Academy and the brand powers #17 driver Jessica Edgar.

Edgar and her Amex F1 Academy machine will be present at the free-to-enter LVGP Fan Experience.

As is the case when Edgar is racing on track, her car will feature the logo of a local women-owned small business when she arrives in Las Vegas.

During her demo runs in Sin City, one year ahead of F1 Academy’s racing debut in Las Vegas, Edgar’s machine will feature the logo of Speakeasy Candle Co, a local Las Vegas small business known for its hand-crafted, sustainable, scented candles that are inspired by craft cocktails.

The Amex fan experience at the Las Vegas GP doesn’t end there, with Card Members enjoying one complimentary ride on the High Roller during the race weekend with a complimentary glass of champagne on Saturday to celebrate the brand’s global expansion with F1.

Amex will also be present at the F1 Hub at the Venetian, which is open to all fans and open from November 9 – December 1.

This is the perfect place to purchase merchandise from an exclusive collaboration with Malbon ahead of Christmas.

Finally, Amex will feature sporadically on the world-famous Las Vegas Sphere throughout the GP weekend.
