Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen will make his long-awaited debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this July with a host of Red Bull F1 talent and machinery.

The Festival of Speed, running Thursday, July 11 through Sunday, July 14 is one of the world’s biggest motorsport celebrations and this year marks the first time the active reigning champion will drive up the world-famous hillclimb.

Verstappen will be joined by his Red Bull Formula 1 team-mate Sergio Perez as well as CEO and Team Principal Christian Horner.

Verstappen and Perez will be joined by David Coulthard, Christian Klien, Daniel Ricciardo and Mark Webber, making it seven drivers past and present from the Red Bull stable charging up the Goodwood Hillclimb.

“In its 31-year history, this is the first time that the Festival of Speed has celebrated a Formula 1 team on this scale,” said the founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, The Duke of Richmond, CBE DL.

“To have both the current drivers – not to mention the reigning World Champion – the CEO and Team Principal, as well as so many team icons is fantastic.

“Goodwood’s motorsport events have always prided themselves on the access that they offer fans and I am delighted that Oracle Red Bull Racing has fulfilled our ambition by bringing together such an illustrious and outstanding group of drivers and cars.”

The Red Bull celebration also marks the debut of the RB17 Hypercar designed by Adrian Newey, but Verstappen and his fellow F1 drivers will be demonstrating the brand’s iconic F1 machines.

The Dutchman will pilot his inaugural title-winning RB16B from 2021 up the hill with Perez piloting last year’s RB19, the most successful F1 car in history after winning 21 out of the available 22 Grands Prix last term.

Coulthard will drive the RB9 that guided Sebastian Vettel to his fourth world title in 2013, meanwhile, Webber will drive the RB6 that he took to within touching distance of the 2010 crown.

Ricciardo will drive the 2011 title-winning RB7 and even Horner will get a go behind the wheel of one of the tam’s F1 machines, driving the RB8 that delivered the 2012 championship.

Finally, Klien will drive the 2005 RB1, harking back to the beginning of Red Bull’s Formula 1 journey as the Milton Keynes-based outfit celebrates 20 years of F1 racing at Goodwood.

Red Bull will be joined by five more Formula 1 teams at Goodwood this year: Alpine, Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren and Williams.
