George Russell clinched the pole position in the qualifying session in Canada. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and McLaren’s Lando Norris rounded up the top three.
Oscar Piastri finished fourth, with Daniel Ricciardo fifth and Fernando Alonso sixth.
Lewis Hamilton saw the chequered flag in seventh, with Yuki Tsunoda in eighth.
Lance Stroll and Alex Albon rounded up the top 10.
