Ferrari unveils blue-infused livery for F1 Miami GP
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Ferrari has unveiled the much-teased blue-infused livery it will run during this weekend’s Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami.

Fans hoping for an all-blue livery, or a North American Racing Team-inspired design haven’t got what they would have wanted, with the colour scheme predominantly a classic Ferrari red.

The design pays tribute to Ferrari’s 70th anniversary of its presence in the United States of America.

Complimenting the scarlet red that comprises the bulk of the colour scheme are two accents of blue harking back to the Scuderia’s heritage.

Azzurro La Plata, the national racing colour of Argentina famously worn by Ferrari’s first F1 champion Alberto Ascari.

The Miami GP also sees Ferrari incorporate a deeper blue shade titled Azzurro Dino, which was last represented in 1974 before the team then evolved to red attire.

Prior to the livery reveal, drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc modelled the one-off blue driver overalls and team merchandise that will be on display throughout the F1 weekend in the United States.

Accompanying the blue accents on the design prominently featured HP branding, following the technological organisation entering a title partnership with the Italian team.

The deal is Ferrari’s first title partnership since it ran with Mission Winnow during the 2021 season.

Check out more angles of the new design below.
