Fuel strategy once again played a critical role in the NTT IndyCar Series race this weekend, but this time Scott McLaughlin chose correctly and was able to repeat his win at the track from last year.

He was followed by his team-mate Will Power, who battled side by side with the eventual winner multiple times before resigning himself to second place.

Linus Lundqvist rounded out the top three, earning the first podium of his young career. The rookie climbed all the way from 19th during the 90-lap race, more than earning his rewarding result.

A few drivers were given penalties for aggressive driving, including Pato O’Ward who fell from fourth all the way to 23rd by time the checkered flag flew.

After a two-week break, the paddock will settle into Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Month of May. A race around the track’s road course precedes the marquee Indy 500 and all the pomp and circumstance that goes with it.
