The Ferrari Formula 1 team has announced it has secured a long-term title sponsorship arrangement with Hewlett Packard (HP) from the Miami Grand Prix onwards.

Rumours had surfaced that Ferrari had struck a lucrative multi-term deal with HP that would rival the backing that Oracle has provided to rivals Red Bull since 2021.

Ferrari has since confirmed those reports, which will see the Italian marque be entered into the F1 World Championship as ‘Scuderia Ferrari HP’ from the next round.

The technological firm’s blue logo will feature on both the team’s car and race overalls, with the deal extending to include both Ferrari’s Academy and Esports divisions.

“Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress. From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation,” said Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.

“In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together.”

The agreement, Ferrari’s first title sponsorship since Mission Winnow in 2021, will also witness HP provide the team with various technological services and support.

HP’s Managing Director Enrique Lores added: “With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fuelling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit.

“Both brands are built on rich histories that have endured the test of time. Through this unique collaboration, we also have an opportunity to reach new audiences, drive business growth, and create lasting impact for our shared clients and communities. Together we will leverage the global stage of racing to accelerate sustainable innovation.”

The implementation of HP’s logo on Ferrari’s SF-24 cars will come in tandem with the squad running a tweaked design scheme at the Miami International Autodrome.

Ferrari will take inspiration from its classic North American Racing Team (NART) and the blue and white colours it adorned for the closing rounds of the 1964 season.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will race with a lighter shade of blue known as Azzurro La Plata and the darker Azzurro Dino tone on their respective cars in Miami.
