Issue 220 of our free weekly magazine, Motorsport Monday, is online now and packed full of great content – click here, or the link below to start reading.

For once, the motor racing world's attention was almost universally focussed on one event this weekend, the 85th edition of the 24 Heures du Mans or just "Le Mans" as it is known by every motorsport fan on the planet.

Oh course, the DTM boys decided that they wouldn't play nice with the ACO and their twice-around-the-clock event as they headed off for the Hungaroring near Budapest for round three of the German tin top series. Just as there were surprises at Le Mans, there were also some in Hungary. Phil Horton has the full story for you.
