Lance Stroll will miss media day duties at the Dutch Grand Prix as he is “recovering from an infection”, Aston Martin has revealed.

Stroll was scheduled to attend the FIA Press Conference at 13:30 CET alongside team-mate Fernando Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell and Max Verstappen.

Although Stroll will not attend or partake in any media duties, the Canadian “is fit and well and will compete this weekend” the Silverstone-based team added.

Stroll currently sits ninth in the Drivers’ Championship ahead of the season’s resumption, 102 points behind Fernando Alonso, who lies third.
