Max Verstappen took to the top of the time sheets for the second practice session of the Miami Grand Prix weekend.
The reigning World Champion set a 1:27.930 to lead the field, boasting a gap of almost four-tenths over second-placed Carlos Sainz.

Charles Leclerc was third in the other Ferrari car, marginally heading Sergio Perez – who was half a second down on Verstappen.
However, Leclerc caused a red flag when he crashed at Turn 8, damaging the front right corner of his Ferrari.
The Monegasque driver corrected an oversteer moment and then locked up before going straight on into the barrier with 10 minutes remaining in the session.
As he hopes to return to the podium this weekend for Aston Martin, Fernando Alonso classified in fifth place in front of the lead McLaren, driven by Lando Norris.
Having enjoyed a strong opening practice outing earlier in the day, Mercedes had a tougher outing with Lewis Hamilton ending the day in seventh place.
Lance Stroll was ninth, with Esteban Ocon and Alexander Albon rounding out the top 10.
Nico Hulkenberg returned to the track after crashing out during the first practice session.
The Haas mechanics successfully rebuilt the front and rear right corners of the car to ensure the VF-23 challenger could return to the circuit.
However, the US-owned team had another heart-in-mouth moment when Kevin Magnussen spun at Turn 14 early on and brushed the wall.
However, the car avoided significant damage and the Dane was able to continue.
After topping FP1 in the afternoon, George Russell ended the second practice outing in 15th, leading the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri.
Rookies Nyck de Vries and Logan Sargeant rounded out the field.
