Dan Cammish took his second British Touring Car Championship victory of the season at Donington Park, as teammate Ash Sutton followed home to P2.

Once again, Sam Osborne’s car broke down before the race began and he could not start. Joining him was Ryan Bensley, though Speedworks Corolla could sort it out in time for him to start from the pits.

Starting from the mandated hard compound, Adam Morgan led the top three away from the lights. Joining them was Josh Cook, starting all the way at the back.

A fierce battle through the opening sector saw Morgan and Ash Sutton battle for the lead, with the NAPA Racing UK man getting by for P1 through the Craner Curves.

Another NAPA Ford Focus car, that of Dan Cammish, also improved on the opening lap as Gordon Shedden fell, taking P3 as Dan Rowbottom and Árón Taylor-Smith followed him past the Scot.

However, the second lap saw Cammish make a mistake into The Esses, with Rowbottom getting past him and later Morgan with a dive at the Melbourne Hairpin.

Shedden continued to struggle on the hard compound in falling to P8, with Tom Ingram climbing three places to P7 since the start of the race.

Another struggling for pace was Morgan, with Cammish getting past down the inside at Redgate. Taylor-Smith continued his strong weekend by getting past the CPRL man on lap five, with Ingram setting his sights on the Mercedes.

Sutton’s strong start faltered, with Rowbottom taking the lead and Cammish also taking P2 from him. Evidently, the hard tyre proved quite the disadvantage for those required to run it, with Morgan falling to P9.

Desperate for any kind of recovery against Sutton in the Drivers’ Championship, Ingram pushed hard and passed Taylor-Smith on lap six.

Contact between Rowbottom and Cammish saw the latter go past for P1 at Goddards, with the Mercedes sent into the warpath of Sutton and Ingram behind.

Almost a rare sight in the 2026 season, Sutton and Ingram engaged in a hard battle on lap seven, with Sutton defending desperately despite his tyre disadvantage. Such was great news for Cammish and Rowbottom, who started to extend a gap up front.

After such a frantic start, the race settled as it pushed over the halfway mark. Though, by lap 10, Cammish had built up over a second to Rowbottom behind as the #32 Mercedes continued with tyre degradation struggles.

Towards the end of the lap, Rowbottom lost drive at The Esses and lost out to Sutton and Ingram. However, he would re-pass Ingram with a dive at the Melbourne Hairpin.

On the last lap, after a sensational battle, Ricky Collard finally took P5 from Dexter Patterson after the pair had duelled through the previous couple. Ingram also got past Rowbottom, as the reigning Drivers’ Champion completed his sixth move of the race.

At the flag, it was Cammish who crossed the line first to take his second victory of the season. Sutton followed close behind, with Ingram two seconds back.

Rowbottom followed, with Collard, Patterson, Taylor-Smith, Aiden Moffat, Morgan, and Chris Smiley completing the top 10.

Daryl De Leon took P11, as Charles Rainford, Shedden, Tom Chilton, and Josh Cook rounded out the points.

As those ahead crossed the line, Dan Lloyd’s Restart Racing Hyundai burst into flames – though he would exit the car safely.
