Aiden Moffat topped the charts in the British Touring Car Championship‘s Free Practice at Knockhill, as Dexter Patterson came P2 for a Scottish 1-2.
Both Plato Racing Mercedes cars placed inside the best five, with Dan Rowbottom P3 and Adam Morgan P5, sandwiching Moffat’s LKQ Power Maxed compatriot Mikey Doble.
The results marked a sensational Free Practice session for Power Maxed Racing, with three cars at the top of the pack a year after they scrambled to race at Knockhill after their fire. The only dampener was Nick Halstead’s P23, though an expected one as the returnee settled.
Looking towards the title fight, Tom Ingram finished in P7, some way ahead of Ash Sutton in P14.
