Nyck de Vries scored an unlikely victory in Race 2 of the Formula E Tokyo E-Prix, which was halted by a late red flag before a one-lap shoot-out to the finish.

The Dutchman took the lead late in the race to lead Nick Cassidy in second, and Jake Dennis in third, the Briton, as a result, taking the lead of the championship.

Oliver Rowland was fourth, followed by Jean-Eric Vergne and Norman Nato. Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein both finished out of the points at the Tokyo E-Prix.
