Qualifying for the NTT IndyCar Series was held Saturday afternoon, with 25 drivers attempting to set the fastest time around the scenic, 4.01-mile course that is Road America.
Alex Palou once again placed his Chip Ganassi Racing Honda on pole, securing his fifth consecutive pole award with a lap of 1:43.6615.
David Malukas was three tenths of a second slower, but earned a spot outside the front row. The Meyer Shank Racing duo of Marcus Armstrong and Felix Rosenqvist filled the second row of the grid with a strong effort for the crew.

Juncos Hollinger Racing and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing both struggled during qualifying, with all five drivers on the squads earning grid positions 20th or worse.
Alexander Rossi will take up the final starting place after a grid penalty is applied for an unapproved engine change earlier in the weekend.
With the field set, drivers will relax overnight and return on Sunday for the 55-lap main event.
