The second day of Formula 1‘s pre-season testing in Bahrain has concluded, and some interesting developments have taken place.
Lando Norris was fastest, his 1:33.453s besting Max Verstappen’s second-placed time by just over a tenth of a second.
George Russell was third, with Alex Albon fourth, and Gabriel Bortoleto fifth.
Oliver Bearman was sixth of the 11 drivers running, but the anonymity of Lewis Hamilton may create the big talking point.
After Ferrari appeared to adopt a new rear wing, which was rotating from an upside-down position when ‘active aero’ was activated by the Brit, the car pulled into the garage after completing just five laps, and reappeared at the end of the session for a practice start procedure.
