Edoardo Mortara took pole position for Mahindra for Race 1 of the Formula E Jeddah E-Prix double-header at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
The Swiss driver had impressed throughout qualifying and carried his momentum into the final, beating DS Penske’s Maximilian Guenther.
Pascal Wehrlein will line-up fourth, with Norman Nato fourth. Taylor Barnard was fifth in the other DS Penske, followed by Antonio Felix da Costa, Nico Mueller and Jean-Eric Vergne.
