Formula E announces more information on the celebrity led Evo sessions

Formula E has announced major plans for its second year of Evo Sessions, with celebrities and content creators getting the chance to race in Jeddah.

However, the series is introducing key changes to the format ahead of 2026. In 2025, each team hosted a selection of celebrities who had the opportunity to receive training and spend time behind the wheel of the cars.

This year, Formula E will split celebrities and content creators into two teams. Which will then compete in a Duel-style format familiar to fans of the sport.

One team is familiar to YouTube viewers: Senõr Frogs. Featuring TheBurntChip, WillNE, Arthur TV, Behzinga and Izzy Hammond. The second team, referred to as Quickstars, will be headed by Vikkstar, with the rest of the line-up yet to be announced.

In the GEN3 Evo race car, the celebrities will receive a unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of a car that goes from 0-60mph in just 1.82s.

The entire event features a partnership with Arcade, the production company behind the Sidemen. The UK’s biggest content creator group. Bringing 21 million viewers, the Evo session aims to showcase the speed and competition of Formula E.

‘The future of sport’

The CEO of Formula E, Jeff Dodds, spoke about the upcoming Evo sessions. “EVO Sessions is about pushing motorsport into places it’s never been before,” he said. “By putting the world’s most influential content creators into the GEN3 Evo car. Giving them a genuine competitive format.

“We’re opening Formula E to hundreds of millions of new fans in a way that feels authentic, exciting and bold. This year, we’ve really stepped up a gear to create what we know will be a truly entertaining experience for fans to follow.

“It’s never happened before in motorsport, and we are proud to be leading the way.”

Ellie Norman, the Chief Marketing Officer of Formula E, echoed Dodds thoughts, saying: “This is what the future of sport looks like.

“Content creators are how the new generation of fans discover and connect with sport. Evolving EVO to work with some of the world’s biggest content creators is critical to our growth strategy and will allow us to reach new audiences and bring new fans into Formula E. As we strive to become the defining youth culture of motorsport.

“Whilst working with Arcade, the great minds behind the internet sensation, the Sidemen, allow us to bridge the gap between elite performance and YouTube culture. We are co-creating the defining youth culture of sport in real-time.”
