Dan Fallows has been confirmed by Racing Bulls as its new Technical Director following his departure from Aston Martin at the end of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Arriving at Aston Martin as its Chief Designer for the start of the 2022 season, he spearheaded a step forward in performance for the Silverstone-based team.

During his tenure with Aston Martin, he saw them achieve eight podiums with Fernando Alonso. However, as they faced their decline into the 2024 season, Fallows parted ways after just three years with the team.

For Fallows, his move to Racing Bulls represents a homecoming after a successful stint with sister team Red Bull from 2006 to 2021. Moving through the ranks until he settles into his role of chief engineer.

“I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team,” he said. “There is a clear vision and strong technical ambition. I’m looking forward to working closely with Tim [Goss, Chief Technical Officer] and the wider engineering group to help drive performance and continue building the team for the future.”

Alan Permane, Racing Bulls Team Principal, expressed his gratitude for Fallows’ 25 years of experience within the sport, as well as the help it will bring to the team.

“Dan has a wealth of experience,” he said. “His technical understanding and leadership will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop and push forward competitive.

“We’’re delighted to welcome him to VCARB.”

Backed by the in-house Red Bull Powertrains engine, built with Ford, Racing Bulls will be hoping to build on its sixth-place finish in the 2025 Constructors’ Championship.
