McLaren has announced a multi-year deal with German sportswear giants Puma ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
The Woking-based squad approaches 2026 as defending Constructors’ and Drivers’ Champions, with Lando Norris carrying #1 on his papaya challenger.
Amid a year of success not paralleled since 1998, the team achieved its double-triumph amid moments of controversy, largely caused by its unrelenting ‘team first’ approach, and fended off a late-season challenge from a rejuvenated Max Verstappen.
Those distinctive papaya colours are set to remain in 2026, and the apparel worn by Norris, Oscar Piastri and the whole team of personnel will now be produced by Puma.

“Our sport is in incredible shape and it’s been fantastic to see an influx of major fashion and lifestyle brands who are looking for deep and meaningful ways to engage with our growing global fanbase,” said McLaren CEO, Zak Brown.
“I cannot think of a better partner than sportswear giant PUMA to help us supercharge our portfolio of fan wear. We know fans want to express their passion for our sport both at and away from track, and PUMA’s innovative approach to design and culture will offer exciting collections and experiences worldwide.”
Puma has a longstanding affiliation with F1. In 2025, Ferrari, Williams and Aston Martin all wore apparel produced by the brand, which also made the clothing for all the official F1 personnel.
The deal extends across the whole McLaren brand, which means every single one of its racing teams, including its Arrow McLaren IndyCar outfit and its upcoming World Endurance Championship Hypercar team.
