Lewis Hamilton was in no mood for words after yet another horrid qualifying session for Ferrari at Formula 1‘s Qatar Grand Prix.
The Briton’s struggles at Ferrari seem to be getting from bad to worse as his debut season with the iconic Italian marque comes to a conclusion.
After qualifying 20th in Las Vegas, the seven-time World Champion saw himself knocked out of SQ1 at Qatar with only the 18th-fastest lap.
“Same as always,” lamented the 40-year-old to Sky Sports F1 after the session.
After struggling for pace during FP1, Hamilton had asked the team to revert to a high-downforce setup on his SF-25.
When asked if it gave him any hopes of better race pace for the Sprint on Saturday, Hamilton was in no mood for eloquence.
“No, [not] good enough,” he added.
Rounding off his nine-word interview, the Briton said, “The weather’s nice,” when asked if tomorrow’s Sprint race would be a mere testing session for himself and the team.
