Fabio Di Giannantonio led VR46 team-mate Franco Morbidelli at the flag, with the pair taking sixth and seventh respectively.

Luca Marini narrowly missed out on an automatic Q2 spot in 11th, while Francesco Bagnaia also found himself outside the top 10 in 12th.
Fermin Aldeguer looked to be safe as the rain started to fall, but missed out after the session resumed in 13th.
