Red Bull has penned a short-term sponsorship deal with McDonald’s that will see the American fast-food giant feature on the RB21 at Formula 1‘s Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
With Max Verstappen on a charge to bag a fifth consecutive F1 Championship, the Milton Keynes-based outfit has added yet another multi-billion-dollar name to its sponsorship portfolio.
Ahead of this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix, the team announced an eight-week-long partnership with McDonald’s starting from the race weekend at the Interlagos Circuit.
The brand’s striking gold arches will prominently feature on both Verstappen and team-mate Yuki Tsunoda’s car across the Sprint Race weekend in Brazil.
In addition to this, an undisclosed McDonald’s outlet in the city of São Paulo will also transform its drive-through into a bespoke ‘Red Bull pitstop’.
Red Bull has planned further brand activation events in conjunction with the iconic American fast-food goliaths, including an exclusive animated series showcasing the partnership.
