McLaren unveils new US and Mexico Grand Prix livery

McLaren and Google Gemini have partnered up for the US and Mexico Grand Prix's

McLaren and Google have launched yet another special livery, set to make an appearance at both the Formula 1 United States and Mexico City Grands Prix.

The new design takes inspiration from Google’s AI partner, Gemini, showcasing the service’s identity.

While the team’s traditional papaya orange remains at the heart of the livery, it’s now complemented by white iridescent accents across the front wing and engine cover.

Instead of the usual black, this creates a glittery finish to the championship-winning car.

The livery will also be replicated on both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s race suits and boots, completing an aesthetic reminiscent of McLaren’s earlier Monaco look.

First launched digitally across McLaren and Google Gemini’s social channels, the livery will make its public debut at the fan-focused McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio.

McLaren has described this exclusive livery as a visual celebration of Gemini’s identity.

Both Google and McLaren have aimed to capture the AI services ‘personal, proactive and powerful’ nature as a digital assistant.

“The livery is inspired by the sparkle of Gemini’s colour palette and aims to highlight Gemini’s role as a personal, proactive and powerful assistant,” McLaren stated.

This marks the second consecutive year that McLaren has collaborated with Google for a special livery at the Circuit of the Americas.

In 2024, the team paid homage to its fan-favourite chrome livery, a nostalgic nod to McLaren’s successful late-2000s era.

Prior to that, Google-inspired designs appeared at the 2023 and 2025 British Grands Prix, the latter seeing the team achieve a 1-2 with Norris winning on home soil.
