Marc Marquez showcased his dominance around the Sachsenring as he topped the final rain-affected practice session at the German MotoGP round.

The rain started falling as the session began, forcing the riders onto the wet-weather tyres ahead of qualifying.

However, the changing conditions could not stop Marquez’s momentum around the Sachsenring circuit as he set a time of 1:28.277 to top the final practice session.

Tech3 KTM’s Maverick Vinales took second in the last session before qualifying, as factory rider Pedro Acosta completed the top three.
