Formula 2 and Formula 3 will accompany Formula 1’s inaugural trip to the new Madrid circuit as both series released their respective calendars for the 2026 season.

F2’s 10th campaign will once again comprise 28 races across 14 rounds, starting with Australia as the season opener at an earlier slot on the weekend of 6-8 March.

Following a double-header in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in April, F2 will race across Europe in Monaco, Barcelona, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Hungary and Monza.

The new ‘Madring’ circuit will then conclude the European stretch in mid-September, with the Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan welcoming the F2 roster two weeks later.

A two-month gap will precede the penultimate race at Qatar’s Lusail International Circuit, with the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi being the traditional season finale.

Meanwhile, F3’s campaign will also begin Down Under in Melbourne to kickstart a 10-round calendar that will end in Madrid rather than Monza as has been the norm.

The third-tier series will also race in Bahrain, Monaco, Barcelona, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium and Hungary prior to the Monza/Madrid double-header in September.
