Sauber has unveiled a tweaked verion of its current livery for this weekend’s Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix.
The Swiss squad, soon to become Audi, has posted images on its social media platforms of the revised colour scheme that will adorn the C45 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this weekend.
Its unique green and black colours remain, but with a new theme, that it describes as “pixel perfect.”
Sauber will be hoping the livery brings them good luck this weekend, with the team currently languishing at the bottom of the Constructors’ Championship with just six points.
All six were scored by veteran driver Nico Hulkenberg at the opening round of the season in Australia, with the German failing to score since, as well as team-mate Gabriel Bortoleto, who has so far been unable to prove his worth and talent in the struggling machine.
Last week in Monaco, both cars finished the race, with Bortoleto a credible 14th, two places ahead of Hulkenberg, who missed-out on a place in Q3 in Saturday qualifying by just two tenths.
The livery unveiling follows that of McLaren’s, which will continue to use its “riviera” design this weekend.
