Max Verstappen swooped around the outside of polesitter Oscar Piastri at the race start

Max Verstappen wins the 2025 Formula 1 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix after getting the better of polesitter Oscar Piastri at lights out.

Lando Norris crossed the line in second place after starting the race from fourth on the grid, with his Australian team-mate settling for third place.

Lewis Hamilton recovered from 12th in his Ferrari to finish the race in fourth in front of the adoring Tifosi fans, Alex Albon claiming fifth for Williams.

Charles Leclerc ended the race in sixth from 11th and George Russell dropped down the order from the second row to finish seventh.

The other Williams of Carlos Sainz took eighth place at the chequered flag and Isack Hadjar finished ninth for Racing Bulls.

Finally, Yuki Tsunoda took the final point in 10th from a pitlane start after he wrecked his Red Bull in qualifying on Saturday.
