Arrow McLaren announced on Tuesday that it has extended its Primary Partnership arrangement with RJ Reynolds Vapor Company.
With the announcement, the team confirmed it will continue to have support from the global tobacco company multiple years into the future.
Arrow McLaren first partnered with RJ Reynolds in 2019 with the introduction of the Vuse brand which, along with the VELO brand, has adorned the team’s cars often since then.
The main sponsorship commitments in the past few years have been on the #7 entry, but the brand is visible across the team in varying levels nearly every week.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with the Reynolds American organization, a collaboration that continues to push boundaries both on and off the track,” said McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown.
“We have achieved some exciting moments together. From multiple podiums and wins to custom Indy 500 liveries, this partnership is built on shared ambitions. We look forward to continuing this momentum into the future.”
To promote the partnership extension, Arrow McLaren will race with special liveries for this weekend’s upcoming race around the Indianapolis road course.
Both Nolan Siegel and Chistian Lundgaard will be driving cars that feature bright yellow accents on the front wing and the leading edge of the side pods.
The two cars are nearly identical in appearance, with only the shade of blue used on the sides of the chassis differentiating them from each other.
All three Arrow McLaren entries will also feature special liveries for the 109th Indianapolis 500, which gets underway just after the conclusion of the race around the IMS road course.
The Sonsio Grand Prix takes place on Saturday, May 10, with the green flag waving at 4:30 PM eastern time.
