Sensational Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli took pole position in Sprint Qualifying for the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
Lapping the Miami International Autodrome in 1:26.482s, the Italian starlet took his first pole in a F1 qualifying session, beating McLaren’s Oscar Piastri to the top spot.
The second row of the Sprint will be occupied by Lando Norris and Max Verstappen with Antonelli’s Mercedes team-mate George Russell rounding out the top five.
Ferrari took sixth and seventh with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton respectively.
Williams’ Alex Albon, Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso rounded out the top-10.
