There was one more practice session prior to qualifying in Japan

McLaren driver Lando Norris topped the timesheets during the third and final practice session at the 2025 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix.

Norris edged out team-mate Oscar Piastri as McLaren completed a practice clean sweep at Suzuka, with Mercedes’ George Russell in third.

Charles Leclerc was next up in fourth as Max Verstappen split the two Ferrari cars in the leading Red Bull to complete the top five positions.
